VALLIS — Houses for Mars
An interactive concept landing page presenting three speculative residences shaped by the terrain of Mars.
Concept website · Live
Make an unfamiliar world feel tangible.
The design challenge was to present an imagined collection of Mars residences with a coherent architectural identity, while making the differences between the three sites easy to explore.
- Give each residence its own terrain and architectural character.
- Connect large-scale imagery with clear navigation.
- Make the speculative nature of the project explicit.
Let the terrain shape the experience.
I built an interactive React landing page with a dark mineral palette, strong typography and animated transitions. Visitors can switch the featured residence, compare the collection and explore a particle model of Mars.
- Selectable residence previews and an expanding image gallery.
- A terrain-led visual identity with an animated introduction.
- Responsive navigation and reduced-motion support.
A live, interactive concept website.
The concept is deployed on Vercel and includes the residence collection, terrain story and a demo briefing form. The form demonstrates validation and confirmation states locally; it does not transmit contact details.
- Responsive landing page with three residence concepts.
- Animated galleries and an interactive Mars particle field.
- Generated architectural imagery with concept disclosures.
- Demo inquiry form with validation and feedback.
